Look out OpenCF Summit, here I come!
It's official, I'm heading to the OpenCF Summit in Dallas in just a little over two weeks! This will be the first conference I've been to since NCDevCon last year.
I'm really looking forward to this conference, as well as seeing some of my CF pals. Unfortunately this will most likely be the only conference I get to go to this year, so I plan on making the most of it.
I'll also be bringing my family with me on the trip. My wife has some relatives in Dallas she's been wanting to visit, and one of my good friends has moved out there, so I just decided to take that whole week off from work and make a mini-vacation out of it. (although I'll admit I'm a little worried about the 12 hour drive out there with a 3 year old and a 3 month old...)
So, Look out OpenCF Summit, here I come! Who else out there is planning on going?
I'm biased, but I do honestly think this is THE CFML conference to attend this year. Funny, I'm doing the same thing killing two birds with one stone: conference and visiting family... Nice to see a conference being held in that part of the country.
Yeah, I like that the CF conferences are starting spread out to other parts of the country. I'm lucky to live in an area that's somewhat central to most of them (except the west coast ones). Every year I say I'm going to go to BFlex/BFusion, but every year I've got something else going on that same weekend.
Well, I've thought about it, but it's during the week. It would take 2 days to drive there if I didn't want to fly... But I would like to "join the community", perhaps online.
